Recieved an email from MAC advertising their “Black Friday” deal at 10:53 on. The deal was to spend over £45 and receive a free mascara and 20% off your order (no code required would just be sent once spend was over £45). I placed the order that same morning and the terms said the deal ran until midnight on the. I received the automatic 20% off and awaited my free mascara. My parcel turned up and low and behold no free mascara. I emailed customer service to be told that they were subject to stock and as they were apparently out of stock when I ordered I would get nothing (I ordered within an hour of receiving the email). Firstly I refuse to believe that a deal that was due to run for 2 days could possibly be out of stock within an hour and secondly if that was the case then MAC should have stocked up before offering the deal.

Just a ploy to get people to buy from them with no intentions of actually giving people anything for free. Will not be ordering from MAC again! I tried to cancel my orders three times, first time on thursday after one hour of placing it, they assured me it got cancelled but since I didn't get a refund the next day I contacted them again so they told me it got stuck in the system and the girl promised it will be fixed in two working days, only to be shipped the next monday. I used the live chat to talked to them, the girl there pretended I never contacted them and the Live chat is only for US cutomers while I made my order on the canadian one. So basically they shoved their products down my throat!! But I will be returning them and this is the last time I'm buying from MAC!!

There's better brands out there with better CS. Well to be quiet honest, looking at the reviews below and the laughable Trustpilot score its evident to see how shoddy their customer service is. I will not deny that the makeup works well for my skin, hence why I have been loyal to the brand for the past 11 years.

However recently I have been massively let down by MAC, not only was my order lost in the post and then it took 3 weeks for me to have a refund! But they I also entered a promo code which I received an email for about a free brush, subject to a minimum spend. Then I notice the brush was not on my order confirmation and contact them via chat, they explain they are sorry and that they are sending out the brush separately.

At this point, I was not too mad, but then another 3 weeks later and still no brush. I contacted them today only to find that they did not send out the brush and also failed to tell me this or give me any reason. To add to this they did absolutely nothing to even sympathise with me let alone try an rectify or make amends. A complete disappointment for such an established brand. This is really is no longer about receiving the product it's about the principle and the lack of accountability or care.

I'd like a response from someone senior who can actually point whats gone wrong and how they intend to turn it around. Please pass this to the CEO or Marketing Director at your earliest convenience. I went into Mac in Nottingham Bridlesmith Gate this afternoon and although there was a few minute wait initially it was well worth the wait. A lovely lady called Laura served me. I went into spend a gift voucher and knowing only 1 thing I definitely wanted she helped me to choose 2 other items. She really listened to my needs and insecurities and made me feel very good about myself!

I’m not very good at doing my own makeup so she helped me pick options that would be quick and easy for me at home and even recommended the make up lesson packages you do. She tested lots of products on me and made me feel really at ease:) she didn’t rush me or try to force me to buy anything she was fab! I can’t thank Laura enough for giving me such a lovely experience and a massive confidence boost too!

Their promotion for a free lipstick last Sunday made me to make my first online purchase on their website. I did it at 7:40 am, made sure the desired shade was available, displayed in a cart and throughout my payment. I received a confirmation e-mail and no lipstick was there, so i contacted their chat client service and a representative was completely unhelpful and sent me a copied/pasted automatic messages, she told me that she is sorry, but as they sold out at noon the lipstick will not be included in my order.

I made this purchase only because of this lipstick as i wanted to try it. So she suggested i at the cost of my own time should look for ups office to send it back if i am not satisfied with my order for a refund. You guys are a scam with a horrible client service. I left a complaint at your website and never heard from you. I visited MAC inside of Macys on state street in Chicago.

I was helped by a woman named Clarissa. Im not sure what the hygiene issue was wit her but it was quite an embarrassing situation to have to ask her to wash her hands and freshen up all for her to have a very bad attitude. I didn't wasn't anyone unclean touching me or my daughters face especially with the way she smelled. Mac do better at hiring and firing. From what iwas told by another employee its been an ongoing problem that's creating a big loss of business and anger within customers. A very kind and not smelly woman by the name of Amanda did give me her full name (CLARISSA RODRIGUEZ). I WILL REACH OUT TO THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND HOPEFULLY GET RESULTS TO CONTINUE ON WITH MAC.

So annoyed with Mac. Will not be ordering online with them ever again. I made an order 10 days ago with a confirmation email my products would be with me in 2-3 days. I have since received nothing. No tracking information.

No other emails. My account says I have had no past purchases even though money has come out my account!! I’ve emailed several times with no response!! Tried to connect to chat live soooo many times and it never ever works!!! I wish someone would get in contact me with and tell me where my order is!

I’ve spent a lot of money. Worst customer service / shipping experience ever!!!! I ordered a package from MAC Cosmetics which was left at the wrong address. I called Aus post and they told me they would open an investigation but for me to also speak with MAC if they could also call Aus post about the issue. I called MAC and their customer care consultant was not only incredibly rude she kept saying it was “my fault” and they would do nothing about the situation.

All I was asking for was help in the situation and for them to call Aus post to help me. I spend A LOT of money with MAC but after this experience, the fact they will not help long long term returning customers is disgraceful!
